A digital garden a digital space to share thoughts as they grow, develop and get refined. Whereas a blog might be a linear track of complete, well edited articles, each bringing together many themes, concepts and ideas, in a digital garden, pages could be anything from a fleeting thought, to some rough notes, to a complete essay. Items are linked and related in different ways to create a non-linear journey through my thinking, including the mis-thoughts in-progress bits.
A successful garden can be a curation of mature, developed wildlife, and a digital garden should be the same to thoughts. And like how each garden is different depending on the resources, skills, environment, preference and personality of the gardener, so is a digital one.
And just like my real life gardening escapades, thereās going to be casualties - but thatās part of the process. Errors and mistakes are allowed, itās learning in public or somethingš.
