I’m a big fan of projectors. They’re essentially a display, and the bigger the display, the more there is to be stimulated by.
Current projector setup
2012 - 2016 Optoma… 2016 - 2019 Viewsonic PJD7020HD (I think?) 2019 - 2024 Viewsonic PJD7828hdl 2024 - current considering viewsonic px703hdh
Main requirements are 200cm wide screen at throw distance of ~245cm, minimum 2500k lumens.
Tried ordering on Amazon on a Sunday, still not delivered Wednesday, ordering from projectorpoint.co.uk instead: Fane was a great help, totally worth not ordering from amazon.
Regarding the mount, Viewsonic projectors normally have 3 holes in the bottom for a mount: these 3 holes are slightly different on all projectors.
To mount my latest px703, the plate from the PJD7828hdl covered 2 of the 3 holes but only aligned with one, so I drilled a hole in the plate over the covered hole, and then screwed a bit of wood onto the mounting plate to extend over the 3rd hole so that could also be bolted.
